Any thoughts on this hand? I check raised in order to charge straight draws and flush draws, protect my hand from a J,K,or A. Once he 3 bet me to half his stack, committing himself, I felt that the only hands that would be doing this would be ones that beat me or maybe a huge combo draw which i don't even fare that well against. This was in the beginning of the match so I have no info. |

Easy shove once you decide to play it this way. |

Can you explain the logic? Unfortunately, I dont see why its such an easy shove, but I want to learn why. Also early in the match, you think check raising and 4 betting it all in or check calling is a better play? |

I m not really a HU player but i dont see a reason to turn TP good kicker into a bluff here
if im c./ring im probably getting it in as played
besides its 5am in europe so this guy is most likely drunk |

Is the reason u shove as played because he can have overs and flush draw or just a maniac with a flush draw? How can you just ignore the rest of his range that is beating me(overpairs, better kickers,2 pairs, sets)? Seems to wreckless to me--I wish I could understand...this hand is really pissing me off.
also how is my kicker even relevant if its unlikely that worse kickers are 3 betting and getting it in on this flop? I can suck out JJ thats all I can see about my 'good' kicker. |

Herro, what the more experienced guys are saying is that once you decide to check raise here, you have to follow through on your game plan and stick it in when you get repopped. Heads up he can do this light, and can also be doing it with any draws.
There's a good chance your beat here actually, but the way you played it is like donating money. |

You are obviously way ahead of his flop cbetting range, which means that you can call flop profitably. If you dont want to get it in then you shouldnt be raising, since what you are doing is turning your hand into a bluff. Use a hand that you cant call with for raise/folding flop.
