I don't understand it T.T

Why lead the flop? Don't we rep pretty much what we have as we'd be expected to cr sets here?
And what about the river, why c/r? Do you expect his range to be capped when he flats flop or? :O

93% Sure!

he has some sort of history or dynamic established where previously he lead with big hands, and this is a good way to play your strongest range.

also most players will bet fold a Jx hand on the river.

with a 100bb stack i mix it up with a set, ch/raising or leading and barreling. this will allow me to lead with other hands like 99 or broadway clubs.
villain is a solid lag. he floats very much and could have picked up outs when the 7c hit on turn. he also valuebets thin, but shouldn't be able to call a ch/raise, cause AJ should be just about on the top of his range here, since he would most likely raise turn with overcards or 2pair+.

with the right dynamic i will also do this with 99 by turning it into a bluff on the river.
