hrm.. i'd probably call that since it's NL50. He coudl be doing that with AK AA KQ draw whatever. But QQ/KK are likely holdings. He also might have even raised with K4/Q4/44 etc..

almost no one here check raises TPTK like this and almost everyone plays top trips like this....
of course two pairs or bottom trip could be played this way, but i doubt he would have raised preflop K4/Q4/44.
he may possibly have AA too.

but it seemed to me that there is at max 50% of possible holdings that i have beat and i didnt feel like risking my stack here. there are better spots at NL50.

He did a weak preflop raise so 4 is out of the question, i'd put him ok KQ

how could you possibly lay that hand down? Don't play your small pocket pairs if you're gonna invest and fold when u hit your set.

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

KQ was of course very probable, but such a weak preflop raise is quite common for AA/KK/QQ also.
i considered AA the least probable of these 4 possibilities and KK, QQ, KQ about equal. I considered AK, AQ very improbable after he didnt bet the flop.

so it was 1 probable holding that i have beat and 2 probable holdings that have me beat + about 3 possible but not very probable holdings that i have beat.

You invested 8$ already and then folded unfoldable. You will waste a shitload of time to win many in poker this way. And read more rek's posts about people who fold sets when they're reraised.

i fold like one set out of a hundred, so dont worry i dont have problem with making money on my stakes. but when i have the bad feeling i better fold no matter what i hold.

its pretty fucking hard to put them on QQ/KK when they minraise pf... if they do so and hit an overset just pay the fucker off, especially if you have $8 already invested

AA/AK/KQ Could be this eaaasily. Call, pleasure yourself, weep and repeat. It's not like you could win anyway. By showdwon someone has hit something.
