odd turn for villain to check? almost as though he is officially checking out of hand, i would never imagine he would check a backdoor flush on the turn after barreling the flop.
so considering how weak his turn range is you are trying to check turn and induce a bluff (a bad one) on the river? |

its pretty straightforward from my part on all streets, on the turn I have a super lock hand and I have no reason to think he is checking to check call with a worse hand or to c/f better. On his part I dont like checking the turn and snap calling my river jam was a bit odd too imho. |

with a hand like KQ or 89 you would bluff turn then?
seems like he never has that strong of a hand on the turn?

there is no reason to bluff with 89, you should be pretty happy to get to see a river,if you wanna get him off JJ-KK you gonna have to 2 barrel and he can be checking to cc with AQ there and some c/r too, putting more money into the pot with 89 is unnecessary. KQ can go either way. |
