his bet size is so bad as a bluff |

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

if his hand is for value, he should be betting smaller to get calls from weaker hands/Ahis, or he should be overbetting. |

so then it comes down to frequencies and history with longple, idk how 07 value bets/bluffs but ...........oh ha that was allin, I thought he could bet like 8k on river. Yeah even more bluffy, for value I would expect a larger turn bet to get a more 3/4 ratio on river. anyways, it just depends on o7 frequencies however most often I would expect a larger turn bet to set up a smaller river shove ratio for value and smaller turn bets with larger river bets/ratio as a bluff |

i agree with wobbly its totally fine and stnd. whether its optimal or not is another question which isnt relevent since we're not villain and we have to evaluate the hand for what it is not what it should be. people do this for value and a bluff unless u know otherwise and to read too much into this sizing is a mistake imo unless u figure out intricacies about the betsize. to look at it in a vacuum and make an assumption off of it vs a reg is a mistake in this case. only with history can this particular betsizing become some sort of tell vs someone competent. |

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

actually his sizing on the turn was why i decided to call down, i havent seen that sizing really from him and we have played a shit ton, he normally sizes bigger to get more money in and put more pressure on (he normally is more tilted also), he is a wild player and not balanced at all (good reg though, but turbospewy at times, he tilts very easily)
and this time i just got the feeling from him that he wanted maximum fold EQ for a riverbluff so thats why i was calling basically any river (+ this was new, and it felt like he just came up with the idea, idk it just felt like we didnt have history with these sizings before at 200bb (so he should have no reason to try and level me and expect me to read this situation like that,) and do this for value)
obv he might use same sizings on the turn on these exact boards for value aswell 100%, idk its hard to say but i often go by small reads/timingtells/and feel alot when i play, and usually it actually workes out cuz i feel that im pretty good at picking out these uniquespots just from gameflow and "by current dynamichistory"flows and be good at thinking how my opponent is thinking atm, and kinda pick the right decisions at a good rate in "leveling of thinking" spots
from a pure rangeperspective its an whole other story, sometimes i just decide to continue in spots where i usually would not without special objectives, and here against him i mean he is gonna barrel so much so its basically fold turn or call turn+riv against him, he is pulling the last trigger with a wide range, and can valuebet very light here, like QQ light almost |
