i think they are too. its an overbet but not a very big overbet. his stack is just 2x the pot.
of course its not perfect but it does the job.

yeah i think in a good % of cases (probably not over 50%, but a good amount) you're right, AA/AK lay down here. check/raise all-in is better for QT because it brings along hands like that

that is true, the checkraise part.
what i meant by "you can't blame him" was that he wasn't stupid for thinking his hand was the best hand.
