I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

erf, you know that it doesnt make sense to put along those 500k behind ev and 6 mil hands, as this flip (and some other few ones) weighs so much in your 500k.
You can obviously complain on the xk behind ev for the 5,95mill non nosebleeds hands, and also complain for runbad on your "shot" at nosebleeds. Then you can complain twice more and be right
Even if I don't like your arrogance, gl on your future hands at those stakes. It's nice to see those hands here. |

who gives a fuck about the ev line, it's a small improvement over the green line when determining luck, but still far off. if there was a graph that measured pure luck it would probably be a very very straight line that sometimes wavered due to a change in skill level. |

I read that EV was about 30% of overall luck; can't remember where I saw it, but someone very legit did it from 2p2. The maths came down to working out how much the variance in the ev difference is a component in one's overall variance. I think it was NoahSD's blog.
edit: yeah, definitely on his blog somewhere. |

If these flips are for your life you should stop playing. I read it in many poker books that you should feel comfortable with your br while playing. Do it and quit the game before it is too late |

You don't understand, Wobbly has such big balls that he really puts himself a gun on his head when he flips. That's called commitment. |

he only has 5bi online because black friday showed us that keeping half a million$ online can be very aggonizing when it's taken from you by degenerate gamblers. |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same
