Frankly, I'm not sure what to do here. I have him at 16/14 over just 80 hands.

typical fml spot. All alternatives feel decent and bad . Someone enlighten us.

im wondering why would you squeese a nit who opens 16 % of hands overall, which likely means that he opens even less like 12ish % from UTG and MP, so im thinking that its not the best spot to put yourself Out of Position with AJ. nits flat AK AQ there ip a lot. so even if you hit an Ace you will be phucked. Furthermore this flop hits the shit out of his range, so i guess i would just give up on the flop or at least on the turn =) (but thats just me)

yeah but if a guy plays 16/14 on 80 hands he is usually not miracly going to start playing 25/20 instead for the next 500 hands, maybe he will increase to 18/15 but still , a nit is ... a nit !

yah this feels like a bad squeeze, as played think you gotta c/f any decent bet. If you check and he checks you can fire at draw completors

maybe one out of twenty 100 hand sample, i play 16/12 and 32/27. Just saying.

the board is drawy heavy, and he only called you, you gotta just go with it, its a really good card for, it doesn't look like he has J9, and if you bet hard enough you can rep AA/KK/AQ, you still have the initiative, and you also bet small on the flop, which can make him float a ton

the only thing I don't like about these spots is that if you bet the turn like you are supposed to, and he just calls, you do not have enough to continue a believable bluff on the river

Well if you bet this flop i guess you absolutely have to bet this turn as well
i dislike the sqz as well

Squeeze is not that bad imo, esp if he is multitabler you can get him to fold out a lot. Depends a bit on his HJ-open %, gotta get that straight. He might even be like 8 % here and then your squeeze obviously is really bad.

Postflop is a somewhat tricky situation, I see argument for both c/f and shipping.

Thanks for the input, guys.

I ended up checking the turn and, after he check behind, check/folding after a blank came on the river. I definitely agree about not 3b this guy when he is probably a nit. I also like the idea of betting river if a draw completes.
