Forgive if I'm wrong (and the hi-jack), this whole ev thing, it's impossible to be above e.v unless you draw out vs someone right? So if you're playing really well in all in situation, you'd expect others to outdraw you, results in below ev, rather than the other way around?

if you win AA vs KK you will be over EV, win a flip, also over EV and etc

You are running above EV even in spots where you are the favorite and win.

btw all in EV means shit , it doesn't represent your "luck" , just a part of it...

cariadon   Estonia. Nov 17 2011 14:26. Posts 4019

Get a grip man. Stop the old "I'm so good but i run so bad bla bla" There is more to EV than meets the eye, for example getting into profitable situations in the first place. You will never know your "true ev" so to speak. Turn that EV shit off and save us the tilt. Also, Engage if you are such a pro at ev then follow your own example and stop crying. FUcking hidden whinepost alert. Negative people will always run under ev. Peace out !

I don't get where all the hate comes from?
The first two lines kinda setup the point he is trying to make, no?

Wow
Ok man
lol

In case some others idiots like cariadon misunderstand me
only thing i did here is helping OP to understand that his swing is nothing in poker and he should get ready to have worse and
that he should work on his self control regarding all in ev

i do think one of the worse thing in poker is the swings
it can be very hard for alot of people to get trough it
its very hard to keep your focus and a good mindset when you are having a bad period

Fairly certain this notion that everything will even out in the long run is a bunch of speculative bullshit by people who don't understand numbers. I'm not even trying to hate, I'm just saying the raw data is quite the opposite of this thought. The idea that everything evens out is obviously true in the sense that if you win an 80/20 you run 20% above EV while someone else runs 20% below EV, therefore EV is infinitely even over the course of infinity hands. But to say everyone individually runs at EV over a long period of time can't be true and trending data is proving as such.

NeillyJQ: I really wanted to prove to myself I could beat NL200, I did over a small sample, and believe Ill be crushing there in the future.
