river is a very easy fold, your either chopping or losing to a flush, your basically calling $6 to win $4.5, meaning you have to be correct over 60% of the time, i dont think thats the case here

if turn was 9x and river was 8s I'd say its a call, but in this spot, you have a really marginal hand on the river

Thnx for the responses...but aren't we calling $6 to win $14 since he already is in the pot?
So technically I'm supposed to win around 30% to be profitable?

You almost never actually win money here, this is basically a spot where you are putting in a lot of money fighting over a best case chop, its a spot where you wanna be the one whos shoving not calling (although at these stakes trying to move people off chops is prob a bad idea)
