How is my play here? Does anyone ever fold river? Is shoving turn better than checking and shoving river? |

btw the reason I checked on the turn is because I was planning on stacking off on any river, whether its a spade or not. |

thinking about it now... it's pretty good checking behind if you think villain will fold something like TT, JJ if you shove at the turn.

this is actually well played, turn check is completley fine |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

lol
and why shove turn?
you have less reasons to shove turn than not shoving it
both play are fine i like checking more than betting

not gonna jump on the green star bandwagon, but checking is pretty cool if you think about it. It allows us to be more balanced (we also check back hands like JJ-KK and lots of other hands), it's deceptive , gives him (villain) opportunity to bluff river or hero call when you bet,
also you are not really afraid of giving a free card to a hand like TT with a spade since you have the Qs yourself.

shoving turn is pretty LOL tbh. there is like no benefit from it unless u think hes gonna call it off with 55 no spade and then u have the danger of another spade coming other than that its kind of pointless with the stack sizes left =p |

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.
