are you all serious? Every single time I do not fold this I am at least flipping cause people do not play aggressive their draws...and this player has sets here more than draws imo...

Well i am on your side kinda.

This guy is a passive nit and will do this with KdQd at the very bottom ! of his range
you are up against 2 pair or set 55,99 almost always

I tried to stack of with AA on drawy flops vs "semi nits" since everbody tells to do so ...
my longterm stats says its a hughe leak though

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 28/12/2011 14:29

if you think you are even money (flipping) here... and you already have money invested... arent u getting in at a discount for flipping the rest of your stack??

PplusAD   Germany. Dec 28 2011 14:39. Posts 7180

if u were 50% here ofc its all in

But from my and r0mx0s experience we are never 50% here not even 40% more likley we are completely crushed vs a semi nitty regular like villian

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.Last edit: 28/12/2011 15:13

I agree, but on the other hand raising here and then folding is plain terrible, we raise because only better hands will continue (by 3 betting) and we will fold to it or he will fold vs our raise with hands that are worse than ours and could bluff on later streets with them.

I understand that many people would prefer clear situation and therefore they would raise, not call on the flop, but we should think about EV don't we?

Meh clicking buttons indeed.

Yeha , not saying he played it perfect ...
3 betting for pure information purpose is almost never good in poker

as u allready said by 3 betting the worse hands of villian will fold and the better hands will continue
thats the opposite of what we want as a poker player

Its just that vs a "semi nit reg" u are opposed to what higher stakes players say over and over again
not good here from my experience over a pretty long sample

Do you see the problem with raising?

you are in position , just make decision depends on baord , pot odds and time telling ,etc.
we can even turn our hand into bluff cuz WE ARE IN POS
its def not a call/call/call spot but raise/fold cost you more money and -ev in the long run

This is only true u if are beat always as soon as he bets flop
if this is the case u can just insta fold to his 1.70

As soon as he bets 1.70 with worse than AA on this flop your statement is no longer true
raising flop is good in case he plays his overpair and TP TK hands (agressive player) and his drawing hands agressive on those type a flops (maniac)
