I am struggling with cold calling small-middleish pocket pairs oop.

this was kinda loose call from me, I usually ccall w 99+ here, checked HEM and I am losing w smaller pairs.

Anyway, I dont have usually enough history with players at micros to have some reads on their post flop play and am finding myself in situations where I am playing guessing game on turn or river.

Any thoughts how to improve this part of my game / where to look at ?

Reraise preflop.. Dont check/call the turn. I think you need to take control with the 77's. If they fight back, then you know your already beat. I watched a Daut video way back of him playing ring games and I was surprised on how aggressive you need to play those middle pairs to make money from them.

these are spots where knowing how opponent plays and his ranges (aggro, nit post or pre) helps a lot. no real winning formula in this spot with ur hand.
as played i would probably fold to cbet as i feel this is not really a spot where one has to act after you call and you have no idea where you stand in the hand except if you spike a 7 on the turn which is very unlikely most times

post flop, i would cr this vs many, and cf vs many. 3way, vs a pretty high % cbetter, i would cr and fold to any resistance

if called, have a plan for turn and river though. -just learned from a leatherass nl200 vid on bluefire
