Villain is some sort of 20+ vpip reg. I think the orbit before on this same table he 3b/fold vs a small 4b in a btn/bb situation. His 3b was around 7-8% iirc but mostly in position

I'm guessing hes unlikely to call me with floosh so should I be overbetting or at least full potting it here?

i'd say his most likley hand here is 88-TT, those hands will often call a bet - prob not an overbet *unless hes very bad

Yea I'd bet on the smaller side.

lil over half pot seems sufficient. He probably doesn't have a flush, he would've check raised it on the turn most likely. Feels like he has mid-lowl PP's with a spade or AJ/AT with a spade. Might hero it with those but unlikely for a big bet. I would stick with betting small like TT and dusty said.

He snapped a $32 bet w/AsAx
So on a related point, if I got here w/AsXx or what have you, do you guys think this is a good spot to bet big as a bluff? I was under the impression that this is a pretty bad spot to try and move people off but you guys are recommending a smaller bet

Not read replies, I think I'd bet 30 - 34, that looks exactly like a standard value bet, which is the size he'd assume you'd make if you were bluffing, so that looks perfect as a bluff at least.

Also think any pairs like, 88 - QQ will look you up if you do this.

if i was blufffing here i'd bet small to move him off a flush ;-0 cause thats the only hand that folds $20 or so should work

It's a bad spot to move people off but if you bet 20-22 you widen your value range instead of being polarized which has all sorts of positive effects. For instance, to be results oriented with his exact hand he likely would check raise a 20 dollar bet bc your value range is bigger and he beats a lot of it and you can stack him

interesting, I figured my bet here on the end (32) would be both as my bluff size and value size. Interesting feed back, thanks a lot guys!
