i mean yes its like sick to think people are bluffing here cuz they have to turn stuff into a bluff and its seems so weird but....wtf

i mean this is absolutely fine, its nice for the dynamic and future history, i do stuff like this all the time, and i really hate this spot but as fast as he started tanking, since he is a very good player (imo one of the best on 5/10) i decided that i thought he would turn alot into a bluff, but its impossible to know really and its mostly based on assumptions/feel/leveling (wich i feel is a strong part of my game when playing these crazy deepsituations) since we havent played a spot like this before

some players always have KQ here or a set that is afraid of AK and AA checking behind

crazy day

why does it feel to me like he wants u to hero call with Qx or JJ 1010? Since he knows your always checking behind a Queen, and 1010 and JJ would be too thin to value bet riv.

Stim_Abuser   United States. Jan 13 2012 01:24. Posts 7499

so why is he calling the turn if he feels he's behind so often that bluff shoving this queen is a good idea?

i cant have JJ or TT it makes no sense for me to bet turn with it this big, and its never to make me herocall obv its a bluff to make me fold better Kx or AA, and not to make me herocall with Q5

he is an impusive creative player, u cant make perfect decisions all the time, its retarded to not think on the fly if u in the moment get the feeling that its a better play and that he can make me fold my whole range almost, since no one is donking as a bluff in spots like these except myself on a regular basis (often with regs snapcalling with AA since they fucking love that hand)

(i get these inpulses all the fkin time, often i end up thinking thro it somewhat objectively and end up not bluffing against alot of players, i might not think on the turn that i can donkshove some rivers but when i see it on the river i can change my mind) for example here if

sure from a theoreticall (nitperspective) its pretty random doing this with K8 since it has some showdownvalue against my Qx bluffs and he should do this with 6x instead of Kx for example, but if he thinks that i will fold everything except like KK or random 2 pairs+ (i never have QQ obv) its a good play doing it with Kx aswell, but i snapcalled because he took so much time and i already made my mind up about how he would view this spot, holding my breath

its anoying as fuck to play against players doing this, i think its a little bit thin to do it tbh in this spot since he is only repping KQ takeing this line

but u gotta have some faith :-) its hard to know to know what ur opponent is on and how he thinks u views this spot to make calls like here, or bluffs like here, u shouldnt just do it as soon as there is an opportunity like this card, wich is like the nightmare card for AK and AA basically, wich is the biggest part of my valuerange here

I think its a mistake to assume just because someone is really good he wont make bad/terrible plays, this imho is one of them.

Daut    United States. Jan 13 2012 06:40. Posts 8955

stim hit the nail on the head here. turn+river together are nonsensical, but separated both are reasonable plays
