People at these stakes tend to think a K is the nuts here so decided I'd be paid pretty well on my implied odds. No idea if that assumption is correct or not. Once he overbets into the flush I'm probably fucked but couldn't see how I could just call after justifying the turn with implied odds.

So pokerstove is now telling me I'm retarded. Lesson learned, don't chase implied odds vs fish on paired boards.

flatting/folding/3-betting are all ok pre imo

turn is a little tilting but probably a fold being oop on paired board

river you have to realize that you can change your reads during a hand and you're never "committed" to a certain action, especially when villain does something (overbetting river) that you'll encounter so rarely in this spot. i don't know what the average 10nl villain perceives as the nuts here but at 100-200nl this is like 90% boat.

even though turn call was probably incorrect (player dependent), it's important to realize that even if calling the turn was correct, it doesn't necessarily imply that you can't fold to his overbet, even if you had originally planned to raise a normal-sized bet (and thus would have put in more money than his overbet anyway).

think about this statement for a second. it may be true, but it's clearly worse to chase draws on paired boards vs competent regs than it is vs fish.
