I think its awful. when your calling OOP to setmine against a 3bet nit money has to go in. if you cant get profit from sets here you shouldnt call the 3bet in the first place. |

Fold pre and do some maths on set mining to 3bets. Take into account the % you hit, the % you actually get paid (A82 not getting you much, or the runout here), the % you get sucked out on (hitting a set does not get you 100% ev, with 5 cards there's some set over sets and 4 flush and 4 str8 runouts), and you will realise that if you are pure set mining, which you are against 5% 3bet, with 100bb stacks then you are burning money. OOP makes it even worse. |

You call oop with 88, flop a set and don't stack kings. That's fucking horrible... lol. |

but still, if you don't have the read that he will barrell a lot with air, raising at some point earlier is the best before any bad card hits (he might slow down on J/Q/A) |

raise turn, if he has 5% 3bet he is mostly doing it for value, so you can stack all his overpairs (AA-JJ). He will most likely give up on river with his blanks (AK-AQ?) anyway. |
