Yeah I agree. The value bet is made much easier here by the vast amount of draws you could be barreling on the turn and have missed. |

What if
1) Same cards, but flop is rainbow, turn brings draw.
2) Same cards, but flop is rainbow and turn brings 4th suit. |

northface - what do you think of a value bet? And how close is it with a c/c? Really interested thanks... |

Hmm I'd normally go the the other way around with these lines. Can you elaborate a little bit more why c/c vs reg is good ? |

c/c is for balance, and because betting here is a little tricky to get value from much worse, it's not a spot where a reg would 3barrel bluff often so villian's can hero fold a Q here sometimes.
betting here is very easy vs a fish because fish have wide ranges, and they call here because draws missed and no scare cards. |

what hands worse than our do you expect a competent reg to bet on the river if we check ?
also I disagree that this is bad spot to 3 barrel, since our perceived range is full of big pairs/broadway cards which hit this board pretty hard so I'd rep KK+/2pair/set/str8 with my missed flushdraws/KJ/J9 |

thats pretty much it :o. also i think its important to have a hand this strong in this specific spot so you are not getting owned hard once you check the river by good smart villains. another method to go about it is to incorporate a c/r range on the river but that is a much higher variance approach and i feel not very plausible when you are multitabling. |

a good reg is going to have KK+ a lot more here and not going to hero you down with worse a lot of the time. a lot more value in a check than in a vbet imo.
edit: retarded general statement that doesnt apply to this riv --; |
