Villain is a reg in these games who Ive been battling with quite a bit. A few 3 bets from each of us back and forth usually with a fold pre. This hand I was hoping to shove it preflop but when he flat calls me here Im a bit surprised. Given this flop should I just c/f? I really dont like my bet now that I looked over the hand but Im just wondering what you guys would do here?
Villain's stats are:
VPIP: 19
PFR: 15
3 Bet: 4.1
3 Bet from BTN: 6%
Fold to 4 Bet: 33%
Fold to CBet: 43%

it all depends on what you think his 4bet calling range is. e.g If it inclues pocket pairs mistakenly looking to hit a set, or suited connectors looking to spaz out when they pick up a gutshot. obv AQ, JJ, TT is a big part
looks like he calls pretty loose from your 4bet stat, (though that is a deceptive stat that takes a while to converge) so a bet is probably good to try to get a fold from 77, TT etc

I mean what is he folding here? 100% broadways connect, almost all suited connectors connect/have at least a gutter and people that call 4bets don't do it to fold when they flop something to a 60% bet. Microplayers pretty much never 3bet 22-77.But by c/f we give up pretty good equity in a bloated pot against those hand.
If I was ingame I'd be happy to c/f, and size my 4bets bigger next time 124bb deep and/or cbet drier boards and more importantly value town him when I hit. Cbetting and then c/f on the turn feels so dirty against his range, but bet shove seems too spewy - checking the flop seems to be the only option |

I c/f, this flop just cant be worst for us against 19/15 flatting 4bet range - I expect him to have QQ/AK maybe JJ, obv monsters are possible too since these guys dont understand that they can miss value from AK if they wont shove.
Also, I'm not a big fan of 4beting guy with 4% 3bet, you dont have enough FE and shoving AK with 40% equity against his range is not EV+ poker |

thanks for the help guys.
after looking over the hand and seeing how you guys would play it im leaning towards a c/f being the best option. his range for flatting one of my 4 bets crushes this flop or already has me beat pre.

based on what i said above about my thoughts on his range i think my 4 bet here is really bad too. If we flat call his 3 bet should we also just be c/f there on the flop to his cbet ? |
