For those of you advocating turn shove, look at the stack sizes. They both 300+ BB deep. I think you played it very well.

no, raise turn

waga   United Kingdom. Feb 18 2012 13:11. Posts 2375

No, villain is a fish, raise turn fish calls with AA, AK, QQ, JJ, KQ, KJ, QJ, K10, Pair + FD's, nut FD's. Look at how fish played preflop and flop wtf he's not even thinking.

OP doesn't show results here I'm pretty sure everybody says shove, not omg fish must have a straight

And river is an ez shove or at least some kind of raise, or you using the term fish too liberally.

And what? Fish fold full houses now?

fish or no fish, villain is check raising you on turn he basically has some sense in knowing what to do in these spots, as far as AA why would villain flat pre? I can see him flatting with QQ/JJ/TT pre because of stack sizes, bet/call turn is the best imo, river bet is good.

It's a fucking minraise turn with 350bb effective stack.
Seriously it tilts me.
raise turn is terrible.
Personally I would shove river (or bet more , who care we're commited to call if we bet more , he's a fish) but trolala's sizing is fine too imo

How often do you shove in these spots? It kind of goes without saying everyone is either a "fish" or a "reg" in 99% hands - no info there.

hmm, 20 responses and not one green star. I wonder if it's cuz they're all busy or if they realize preaching to a moron isn't worth the breath.

NeillyJQ: I really wanted to prove to myself I could beat NL200, I did over a small sample, and believe Ill be crushing there in the future.

Snap fold, you don't play A10o oop in a 3bet pot vs someone 3 betting ur utg range, especially deep. Villain just wants to hit an ace or ten and call down because he's a fish just having fun. Flop is obvious check raise for villain since standard 3 bets are AK+, let alone ep 3 bets and what people c bet on that type of board.

Anyways, fish can think a straight can be good on a river with a ton of full house combinations and possible flush draw but can't think a set or two pair is the nuts on the turn?

EvilSky    Czech Republic. Feb 18 2012 17:10. Posts 8918

this is pretty basic but you should only make it 135 if you think he folds when you go 136, if not there is no reason to not go like 154,162 etc but honestly just shove, whatever you bet looks strong here so we are relying on his fishiness for a call.

"vs fish" isnt really very helpful because fish are fish because they play unreal bad in weird ways in some spots. assuming that he just isnt some unreal foldster would probably just shove. you cant really rep thin value on that river so just boom it. cant really hate on it like 162 or whatever tho

wp except for river, which is an easy shove. You are trying to get value from a very good hand from a fish
