^iffy for value, no real point as a bluff, we either have his range pretty crushed, or we are crushed.
I dont like the check-call guessing game, but in this spot I think its the best option unless there is some crazy dynamic where hes doing this with like 99; or 10x and he will call raise. |

^ as stated we don't really do this for value or bluff. just to make the hand easier to play. check/call-line is soooo meh because we almost always get crushed. or maybe that's just me. |

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | Last edit: 23/02/2012 10:01 |

+1. i can see villain doing this with a loooooot of shit. or rather: i don't have a fucking clue what villain has, because all i've done is check/call.
esp. considering "guy looks taggish" and "first pot we played" |

I dont like x/call guessing game either...
x/raise to take the initiative might be ok, but what about donk betting the flop ? we would have the initiative as well and we dont bloat the pot oop vs relative unknownn.. |

I dont see why we wouldn't c/r flop? I mean a T is really the only turn card that's not a slam dunk value bet. And if we aren't c/r-ing JJ then I assume we are only c/r-ing sets on this flop. |

you c/r then b/b and maybe consider a fold to a raise but probably cringe call/shove. |
