nah dude i said i had K9 cause of double barrel flop/turn, then i noticed i had K high on river, i dont think its a bad raise utg+1 with a maniac fish in the table and nitty buttons.. |

Ah well it helps justify the flop and turn bets, but the raise is still pretty loose UTG+1. I prefer abusing fish in position with hands like this as opposed to playing oop, but only if the fish has shown a tendency to fold to too many cbets. If he is the typical fish that overvalues his top pairs and plays too many hands, you are playing incorrectly against him. |

I understand that, but there are still 4 other people at the table. Can we justify opening this light(even though we thought our hand was K-9s) to iso the fish if we have to counterbalance all the times we play vs the other 3 players with a weak hand? Especially a fish that appears to be favoring calling a lot more than folding |

much rather raise something like T9s than K8s. although K8s does have valuetown value vs fish. just kinda depends what kinda fish he is |
