you want an explanation?
the guy is suspicious, he raises pre flop pretty big, you re-raise he calls
the flop is dangerous,JQ KQ AQ QQ are all possible hands that beats you, you should bet a little more than that to get information after his check
he check/calls, a really bad spot for you, you decide to check behind because its a dangerous board and re-evaluate river
He pushes all-in river, you were facing a check/call check turn and push river, doesn't that ring you a bell? you don't beat anything except a bluff. You are playing NL 10 and you should not worry too much about people bluffing, you should just play ABC poker and make +EV plays, that isn't one, he's obviously wanting to get paid off or he has AIR, because he's not doing this with nothing you beat |

by the way, you decided to limp-reraise with kings under the gun, thats really unappropriate to do at those stakes. But if you want to do it at LEAST be it with aces, and reraise bigger, you are giving him odds to call with basically anything if you dont raise 3 to 5 times his raise
the 2 queens on the board were supposed to save you money, going broke here with kings if there is only one queen on the flop is fine, but the way this was played he has a queen |

part of me knew he had Q. I wasn't thinking clearly.
thanks for the pointers! things I haven't thought about, like reraising at least 3-5 times. |

I think you're my bad luck charm. As soon as you left i got stacked 3x haha ^_^ (which sadly only makes up for partial losses on the day) |

ninja just remember that you play poker for information and value. whatever you do. learn to bet/raise properly and you will get up stakes in no time, once you learn to bet the right ammounts you get the right informations and you see it all clearly. |

ok
that's good insight.
personally, I cannot wait to go up to 25nl *properly bankrolled*, as it's very hard to resist moving up underrolled. I'm sure you can relate.
I think I can fix a couple leaks in my game and move up faster, cus I tend to lose money for nothing like the above. Although it doesn't happen so often now, it used to be a big problem. I'm winning more than I lose now and actually building a bankroll, and I'm getting used to 8 tabling and keeping a good winrate... although it's pretty tiring after like 2 hours. |

yes i can relate but be patient
it's already very good that you seem disciplined in your beginnings and informed about bankroll management |
