What should I do here? Is the 4 bet sizing good given the stack sizes?(That is my standard 4 bet sizing--I didnt alter it based on his stack size)

you have a standard 4bet size? you allways 4bet 2,5x? i mean if he 3betting to 2x you have to 4bet bigger than if he 3bets to 3 or 4x imo, flop i think you should just shove.

his 4bet = 25% of opponent's stake wich is fine.
More than 25% is really bad unless he's a big fish and it's for value.
basically if you 4bet more than 25% and vilain is competent , he knows you're commited with all your range.

this

and
I think 4betting sizing should be dependent on opponent: f.e. fish call bigger 4bets (and 3bets too)
and if they call a lot you should have much more strong hands

Can you or someone elaborate on why my standard 2.5x 4 bet has to change based on whether they 3 bet 2x, 3x or 4x? I will be giving him the same price of 2.33 to 1 in either of the three cases if i 4 bet 2.5x.

don't even worry about it. sometimes people watch a particular video and get mesmerized - fuck it.

With 2 overcard+gutshot equity you can never fold imo...

xicotaSLB   Portugal. Mar 11 2012 08:53. Posts 1128

well vs this guy its okay since he is not 100bb deep, and many regs at these limits cant tell if you are commited or not.

barbieman   Sweden. Mar 11 2012 08:57. Posts 2132

Wouldn't check flop, but now I would raise. After putting in $10 pre we have enough equity to stack off on this flop.

barbieman   Sweden. Mar 11 2012 08:58. Posts 2132

even if he was 100bb deep it would be fine to stack off on this flop.
