i never thought bluffing in omaha was possible. you have to shove every hand, cuz you always have odds, right?

of course bluffing is possible.

esp with blockers. but this seems like a bad bluff, even if u had JJ-blockers. I mean- he is not really folding to 15 more dollars anyway.

yeah the whole point is I didnt realize the J9 made a str8 so I thought he was just getting it in with some strong combodraw that I was doing well enough against, which may or may not be retarded but obviously had I realized there was another str8 other than 79 on board I would have mucked.

to clarify I posted this as a goofy fail hand not some serious close spot or anything ^^

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

Not sure if serious but he evilsky most likely meant he was bluffing with his 2nd barell bet, not the ship...

sadly, having 2 blockers doesnt preclude your opponent from having a straight. if 79 was the only straight, he can still have XX97 which is a shitton of combos. it's amazing how often they do have "it"

Hm then maybe there is actually some merit in playing hands like 7777 etc. - then they cant have it for sure
