weird hand, appreciate any comments

villain is a solid kind of nitty winner at 1/2 - 3/6

at the time i had a somewhat nitty/passive image, and i just expected him to give me a lot of credit if i raised at any point, and i felt like he could potentially be bluffing a decent amount of turns/rivers when i just flat. was planning to jam a lot of rivers but 7 seemed like not such a great card to do it vs someone who's not making too many bad calls.

I think if he has a low F3B raising flop is good, and if not make it like 70 on the turn so you can get it in with a 75% pot bet on good rivers. I think making it 70 on the turn makes it pretty hard on him when he has 2pair like hand, or ajsx, qjsx, or even 10, 9 spades, with a pair.

i think he's folding anything worse than sets to a turn raise

idk, i raise at pretty much every point in the hand vs a lot of people, i just felt like

flop: he doesn't have anything most of the time and our dynamic has been pretty nitty/straightforward on both sides, so i think he's just folding to a raise a lot. very few bad cards for me but he can still barrel what he may see as a weak range for me.

turn: he's bet-folding a TON of stuff here imo, but again i doubt he's expecting me to exploit this so i felt like there was more value in flatting. the downside is that i'm losing value on some scary (for him) rivers when he has a set/straight by not raising, but i like to think that's offset by the times he'll barrel some rivers when i flat. i doubt i'm losing value to stuff like AJ/QQ/87/JxXs/etc. though since i'm pretty sure he just folds all that stuff to a turn raise. if river is a brick he can also continue v-betting some of that stuff he would've folded to a turn raise.

river: idk, pretty reasonable for him to show up with some boats and i think a shove from me is getting tons of credit.

If he's folding AJ, QQ+, two pairs, jxXs to a turn raise but value betting river with them on a safe river then you definitely played it properly. Is he actually though? Maybe like I said stakes are above me, so take my comments with a grain of salt.
