yeah c/r is check/raise. bomb just means bet big, like pot-sized or close to pot-sized. |

I'm so proud of you guys. :`)
Be thankful you met bigredhoss first Apatik-, some of the players on here would rip you apart for being new to poker. Also you might want to invest in a couple of poker books. They'll teach you the basics such as pot odds and why you never limp preflop. |

Why would you expect villain to bet that river after checking behind the turn? As played its an easy river lead right? |

And what is he gonna call with that doesn't bet the river anyway, also give him a chance to bluff and vb hands that he's folding to a lead. |

Hero has check-called a half pot bet on flop and checked turn. Now, as Villain you surely have a bunch of middling showdown hands? decent queens, weak aces etc. that will pay off a value bet but is too thin to bet themselves. |

If I'm villain I'm not calling with a Q( at best I call to split because i don't think anyone bets a random float or even have one) and I'm betting every A to get you off a split |
