Include stats if you can.
If he's any type of reg he's showing up with 45ss or 3 combos of jj which he might raise on the turn. I mean maybe he slowplays kk??
I think he has enough air in his range that you need to call even ~240bb deep.
Take it with a grain of salt, I play below nl200. |

stats: hes quite nitty, and likes to check back alot of flops, prob has a cbet of like 50% or something (i have a smallish sample - few hundo hands) - this is rusher poker also
yeah i felt the same way, i dont even think he has KK or JJ here when he does this as weird as that feels. Feels exactly like 9T and nothing else, *maybe* sometimes the KK JJ hands but not as often. Results: i tanked for ages and folded |

Interesting hand.. would 9T peel the flop? and turn too, I guess double gutshot implied odds with a disgused draw make it ok to peel, still seems loose for a nit though.
That said, its just that nits dont bluff eh. so he has to be valuebetting worse and thats hard to see. so probably a good fold, one I would find hard to make. I think KK is likely, nits love to slowplay and trap, desperate to get value.
$294 tocall /$656 in pot = 30.4% need to be winning 30% of the time. In this kinda spot have you seen nits show up with a bluff or a too-thin vbet more than 3 out of ten times.
heh, actually... thinking about it could run a filter to answer this in PT/HEM if you have a bigt database. Filter for low VPIP and for river shoves that got called, and see what they are showing up with. |

?? flop and turn call with T9 here is 100% standard with stack sizes + position
I think this is a preety easy fold vs most players, i'd need a super star read to call here |

Would he call the raise on the flop with a gutshot? |

Hmm, Maybe he has a K, and picked up a flush draw, and on your river bet he felt he was fucked, but he decided to make it to a bluff lol.
Gut says fold though, but it sounds more exciting to "analyze" and find a call lol
In my experience, a raise is almost always the nuts though.

Ya. Dude pulled somewhat similar trick on me twice when we were 2-3 BI deep. First time I almost folded a boat second time I snapped with a set (I looked weaker). One time he had a pair turned bluff and the other time he had K high.
Some people spaz deep. |

Flop raise is imo too small.
9Ts, or 9Td easily can call flop w/backdoor flush, and also turn picking up double gutter

i dunno how often hes bluffing here i would assume never but he has every combo of KK here raising at any other point in the hand with KK on this board is retarded |

exactly T9 is for sure in his range with a lose call on the flop with outs and steal opportunities and he obv aint going to fold when he turns a double gutter |
