Hard to see what we can valuebet against. AJo that peeled flop? A3s/A4s that peeled pre? even a fish is going to find a fold with KK/JJ/TT on this riv a decent % of the time. he needs to call with worse over 50% of the time for a bet to be better than a check.
Hes going to have a decent number of combos of Qs and flushes. KQ is 6 combos, JQ 6 combos, 4 combos of AQ. flushes: err on the side of too few and say 12 combos,
so lets say about 22 combos that beat us.
So then we need more than 20 combos of other things that will call the river. give him discounted 3 combos of KK that call, 3 of JJ, 3 of TT, (would be 6 for pocker pairs but sometimes they will find a fold) give him all combos of A3s and A4s, 6 combos.
18 combos that we beat.
if we can get the # of things we beat higer than things that beat us, can value bet. what else do you think is in his range is? |

When he calls the flop here he turns up with a whole bunch of qx's, way too many to vbet this river. |

ohhh yeah, good point, I missed the 2 pairs that we now beat. I was going to assume most fish play fit-or-fold so discounted the bare Ahi's alot. |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |
