eh. Vs most players at deep you should prolly 3bet utg with 88+, and KQ+ for value. Because they will always try to set mine you oop and a lot call with suited gappers and suited double gappers and shit. And most of them hardly ever 4bet bluff and if they started 4bet bluffing you could 5bet/ or just call in position with some hands that dominate their 4bet bluffing range.

;-0 I would 100% disagree with this |

why? i mean it's not applicable to all nl50 deep regs. But about half of them play 30% fold to 3bet, opening nearly the same from utg as they do from the button

i think 3-beting 88-99 type hands is not a good general play |

3 betting a wider value range vs idiots who set mine always OOP is obv a good play but vs most i think it's bad...you're just forcing out worse hands most of the time so you're not getting the value you should from hands like AQ/KQs and raping yourself by forcing them to play a stronger range than what you're 3betting with |

i think your thought process is good for button, and against some regs who arent positionally aware and call 3bets only to play fit or fold postflop, but it certainly is not good vs all people. |

actually i flat 88-99 on BB/SB vs button opens because people will call with alot more broadway hands when i 3bet there(as well as 3betting oop and not being able to set mine 4bets as they are wider)-and i can actually have something to have when they cbet into 256 flops. But yeah, i kinda messed up my advice. It's only vs those certain loose calling regs i described |
