I realize your 4 betting for value, and you are ahead of their 3 bet range but against their 4 bet calling range we lose some of that implied equity. the only reason i prefer a smaller then pot, is because i feel like vs pot specifically they will incorrectly put you only on AAxx and just flat the 4 bet all the time, never 5 betting.
