Turn check is pretty bad.

There are a ton of worse hands he will call with that have equity against you, so you need to get value from them.

i think point is that while villian may do that, this is not the spot to exploit that as the same can be achieved by betting and you don't want to let him peel with his drawing hands that will call

I'm not sure the same can be achieved by betting because he probably folds to overbet river shove and probably doesn't bluff if I double barrel.
