2bb button open is fine/good obviously.
The flop bet should probably be a tad bigger. When the ace rolls off on the turn I bet turn and bet almost any river card. Villain will usually calls turn with hands like 9T and pitch them on blank rivers. |

As a general rule of thumb for micro stakes I would only be minraising against tight/shortstacked blinds. I would say it's directly better right now for you to actually tighten up your button range and compensate by raising more, as you should be pretty value-focused right now.
Raising wider is still "correct" poker but what actually happens is you get yourself into a lot of marginal situations which imo are completely unnecessary (and potentially hugely -ev) if you're just starting out and trying to move up the micros. |
