i suspect that he is strong since he bombed the turn. Is anything worse gonna call my ship ? just flatting seems kind of nitty ... ship or call ? |

I think its kinda hard to say without reads, both can be fine. Definitely a lot of worse hands that can call but if you dont really know if 57s and 97o are in his range and how often uhh like I said its close. fwiw I dont think he bombs the turn with Q9, maybe Qd9d but even that is a bit unusual. |

I hate those comments...
OP is better than you , no it's not close , he post a hand and ask for serious answer.
I'm sure a reply like " lolz 2pair wtf man ? arrrrrrin" is not the kind of answer he's looking for
I probably should not post when I'm drunk but it pisses me off... |

It really depends how wide are you calling 2 barrels - do you double float often, can you call with naked fd+over or sth and then bluff shove river and the most important thing, does your opponent even thinks about it.
The only strange thing is his bet size, he bets only ~1/2 on the flop and then bombs on the turn.
I actually think on turn it's more of a vbet with straight, strong T, hand similar to yours, pair+picked up draw or maybe weird played overpair (doubt that tho) or full of shit bluff (big bet to make you fold after he put you on weaker hand, because you just flatted on the flop).
I will just shoot that he got sth like AJ and his thought procces goes like that:
- flop - i bet small because i got nothing and i don't want to invest too much.
- turn - i bet big, because he called my weak hand therefore he is not strong.
- river - i peeled a TPTK and now i want value from his bluffcatchers and maybe induce a shove from missed draws.
So I would shove.
However the turn big bet also could indicate a strong hand, depending on the player, so dunno haha |

he doesnt know what Hero calls with. If he calls and then get a similar spot again, then he probably shouldnt shove vs the same guy |

not true
if hero calls here, it doesnt mean he cant bluffshove river
it means his river shoves are more polarized, hero doesnt have 2pairs but can have bluffs in the river shoving range
in villain's spot, I'd much rather herocall a shove vs a guy who doesn't shove JT than vs a guy who shoves JT |

Our range is pretty capped here, making JT the strongest hand we can have except Q9dd or Q9cc.
We have very few value-hands that would take this line and shove river.
That said, for a shove to be better than a call he has to call a shove with any two pair that gets to the river,
JJ+ and some one pair hands. |

call if u feel its a call, shove if u feel its a shove
your subconscious is stronger than u think

That only depends on how good you are. If you take someone godlike in poker, his first thought, feeling, intuition will be really sick. But if he's struggling at the limit, a bit confused, the first reaction can often, and often is wrong.
Like a chessmaster can walk by someone playing, then lay out 5-6 sick strategies, ideas, tips, and they will all be nice, but no real effort, though behind it, just his expertise.
