You made such a terrible call, WHO calls the overbet river when clearly this is pure nuts baby. SERIOUSLY you are an idiot, please stick around so I can bust you and let everyone see you for the bad player you are. ARRRGGHHHHH - 2011
2012 - I have white magic
2015 - Sponsorship/endorsements $ exceed $ from poker = profit
TLDR
-berates fish
-beats fish
-losses to pros
-fish love him
-pros hate him
Weird world man, weird world
I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

can you explain why you think betting the turn is profitable ?
I've heard lots of good players saying that its not a +EV bet vs fish when the board doesn't change even if we have 8 outs draw.
Are you planning on firing lots of rivers ? What rivers are you bluffing if you don't hit? thx

because check calling is not an option out of position, its either bet or check fold, betting lets you realize your equity
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

To build upon what tt said, the pot is also 3x bigger on the river so our value bets get paid pretty well too making up some for our 16% equity.
You bring a good point as well. Against passive fish who don't protect their hands we can easily without penalty bet turn small giving us a good price as well
