I think it's because if he has like a pair and 3 other cards higher than you're lowest cards, that's 9 outs alone, then comes all the other shit, like f draw, straight draws n shit. Oj, I said shit a lot. And Phil Galfond always goes on about "A lot of big pots get lost in plo when we think we've got good equity, but someone has same draws as us".
