Looks like a mighty thin river 4bet to me. Crazy game?

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

i don't think people fold value hands once they 3bet river here. This is a pretty unusual spot though so i just went with the fact that having a flush/boat is really hard and i jammed.

you dont think he 3bets river with worse?

Wait so this wasn't a bluff?

If you do this kinda stuff for value it's gonna be pretty bad -.-

He might 3bet river with worse for value (and probably just a small% of the time) but then he will never call with that worse hand to a shove are you craaaaazy?

Even if tries to think of reasons to 3bet light here for value he'll come to the conclusion that you're probably not gonna call light so if he has a marginal hand here like a 7hi flush or whatever I see him calling your raise almost always because it's quite bluffy with this line on this board AND you're not calling with worse often if widler decides to 3bet here.

I thought I stumbled unto a genius bluff here by you on the river making him fold an Ahigh flush . He probably was just 3bet bluffing though.

yeah he was bluffing here im pretty sure(snap folded).

This is such a crazy spot because if someone ever bluffs me here it means they are bluffing me 98% of the time. Since they are calling flop raise extremely wide. Ace high+ random floats, when they see this river raise and they think its a good bluff spot they are gona do it with their whole range. That's why i shoved at the time.

Ya but you're just burning money when he does have the goods some % of the time (like 99/JJ or whatever or the odd chance that he'll just call it off with AhXh). If you're pretty sure he's bluffing you could just call.

Only benefit of shoving is I guess that you don't show your hand ;o.

looks like his river bet size is him hoping your on pure air and him wanting to pick it up cheap, im guessing if you didnt improve your just snapping the river?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

yeah, river is a snap, i expect people to be floating this flop raise a decent amount since i rep nothing, they have to at least call with A high to stop themselves being exploited i think.
I Decided to check the turn to create hidden equity.
