Why is it so common at your level for people to be playing such bad hands so aggressively? Do you think he was re-raising due to reads on you? Was he just reacting to your tendencies?

yea but is he overbet shipping into 2 people with worse than ur hand often enough? Just asking, but to me the call seems pretty optimistic unless u saw him do some random spazz shit before.

we do win vs 8x which I think maybe the same % of his hands as Qx, no draws does concern me a bit

I dont know I didnt really expect a jam from Qx, at least not AQ or KQ and I certainly didnt know he had Q5s in his range, I figured 8x and JT,9T type hands are just as likely or something weird like 66,77 or KJ... clearly not a fitstpump call but I dont think its bad.
