b/f would be the clear play if stacks were a bit deeper but here I'm not sure. Prob see if you can get away with betting smaller if your plan is to b/f. Checking back sucks but is not absolutely terrible if you have some reads about his play on later streets.

I think I start by checking back the flop, there are some turn cards you can improve and call a bet on, you can't be called by worse on the flop and hands that don't have you completely and utterly dominated can shove on you and you lose all your equity as you are forced to fold. It would be somewhat unusual for a hand you crush or are in good shape against to smash blank turns
poker is soooo much easier when you flop sets
