Checking a similar flop and then raising turn with air in a 3bet pot.. I have yet to see it. Seems like a strange spot to try and bluff. Carthac   United States. Sep 20 2012 20:29. Posts 1343 Dunno why he would 3bet AJ, 88, or 99 in position. I guess with JJ he didn't want his hand to look completely transparent on the turn if he cbet the flop and checked behind? Weird line
