Posts 3585 Calling pre is profitable by a small margin, but only if you are confident you can play it very well postflop (such as having a good idea if, or what size, he cbets missed AK, or whether he will give you the information that he likes to be buttfucked on an ace high board with QQ/KK (such as only c/c QQ-AA and never A2-AK)). It never hurts to outnit a nit and pitch it pre, it's not as if he's going to exploit you, he's a god damn stinking nit. edit: basically I snapfold pre unless I know exactly what to do here, cos I need to get it right really often to justify the preflop call.
