I am checkraising this flop to avoid such situations. a lot of bad turns for us, would try to get the money in when i am still ahead.

call pre, as played checkraise flop, as played shove turn for thinnish value because SPR is low and so many hands with hearts shove flop.

If the hand was double suited, would it be a 3bet pre? I'm feeling a bit lost on when rundowns are a 3bet and when they aren't :/

the answer is its kind of a stylistic thing imo. some people have 3b% of 15 so its in their style to pump up the pot with a balanced range that includes hands like T987. other people have 3b% of 5 and will only 3bet a range that crushes and isn't exploitable (so not just AAxx but only the strong AAxx plus doublesuited KK plus doublesuited QQ with straight playability or even like four cards T+ single or doublesuited). personally i like keeping my stDEV lower for my sanity, so I always flat this and 3bet doublesuited like half the time. depends on how i'm feeling (slightly tilted = reraise )
i guess it sorta depends on your opposition and having a good memory of how similar situations have treated you in the past. i will find myself changing a "standard" line now and then because it occurs to me that the last 5 times i tried it in the name of balance I got owned every single time, so I'll try something else.
