fistpump slamdunk 3bet preflop that deep
flop is close, i think IMMaxValue has something stupid like JT86. anything that truly crushes you would shove flop. but his weakish calling hands still beat you in HU equity. so i am tempted to just call and play perfectly on the turn. if I think I have fold equity on the flop then im definitely shoving. but my thought, again, is that he has some stupid pair+gutter which cant fold to your turn shove and is 65/35 versus you. |

I was thinking about 3betting, but everytime I've 3bet single suited runs vs utg and posted hand people have said its too loose, being deep makes it a lot better I guess?
I flatted, turn Jh, he checks. We have just under pot left.
+ Show Spoiler +
Checked behind. River brick and he jams - easy fold right?

deep plus position. 3betting in position deep is the supernuts. its less awesome if youre 100bb deep because they can just 4bet the top of their range and you're not owning as much. but 200bb they start owning themselves because you have position and you can rep every single board texture that doesnt hit their 4b range (presumedly AA** and high doublesuited stuff). and if they overplay their 4b range postflop thats even better because you just start to print the 60/40s. plus a lot of other nice things that come with 3betting a lot in position deep.
turn is a super LOL spot, i would actually shove because i think if he has AK/K9 he would shove himself to protect versus a board pair or heart river? and if we get owned then we have a heart draw as a safety net. and if he has AK with hearts then FML LOL. so we are basically protecting our equity (no free cards!) versus the assumed JT86 that we dont want to boat up. it's not really a valuebet but its nice to pick up the sidepot and assume to have lots of equity in the main pot.
river i would fold i guess o_0 |
