If you have any read that he will bluff shove / stack off with any 2nd or 3rd pair it might be alright. But calling would also be way better then. |

it's fine if they are opening a lot from button and folding a lot to 3bets over big sample. i doubt they are folding a lot to 3bets if 65s is in their calling range though. |

if you want to 3b the bottom of your range, atleast do it with hands that have SOME value |

Theres immediate value from 3betting this hand pre if villain opens too much from the button and folds too much. |

i just moved up to 10NL so i dont have a lot of info on villian but his attempt to steal and for to 3bet were both high. I guess i got the feeling he was playing back at me because with such a high fold to 3bet it seems like his range that beats me (JJ+AK) he would 4bet and the his range that calls (big aces smaller pairs,) are crushed by my 9s.
in retrospect i think my 3bet was a mistake, i had gotten use to 3betting ultranits at 4NL with 90%+ fold to 3bet over 1K, im going to tighten my 3bet a a ton until i have some more hands with the regs and i can try to exploit them instead of just the fishu. |

if he's calling with 56 i dont think he's folding too much
edit:but if he's folding too much, yes then i fully agree with you. i am just referring to this specific villain |

I remember moving up from 2nl to 5nl, I didnt want to get pushed around so I became over aggro playing like this and when the smoke cleared I realized I couldnt beat 5nl by playing super aggro.
Premium hands in the micros will always make money in the long run. |

Jesus Fking Christ...
This is how you beat micros (and small stakes)
1. Play TAG
2. Bet big and fold to a raise.
Thats it.
You can thank me later. |
