Who is he? He stopped fullstacking a while ago, I assumed because he was a spewtard.

you're not isolating yourself vs AA, who told you that?

If im in jaulero spot id put you both on AA or you on AA and alexanderT on KK and im not folding rundowns or anything prettymuch.

he used to be a 2/4 - 5/10 reg at NLHE (and i think some 10/20 - 25/50 too?). idk how great he was but pretty sure he was at least a winner.

anyway i tried to ninja-edit my reply b/c i realized it was dumb because he could just be learning a new game or experimenting with a halfstack strat or w/e.

Yeah but if he folds a hand that is bad vs AA, and calls with his runs etc, isn't that good for me? My hand plays OK even if we get it in pre, and he'll fold some hands. Dont like regardless?

Which hands do bad vs AA and (AA,KK)?
AKxx ss, some bad high runs, like KQJ9ss

If opponent realizes that he wouldnt make initial overcall.
He's calling with pretty much everything in his range.

Here are better spots to 'isolate'

UTG raises
MP (you) call
CO calls
BTN 3bets
fold/fold

UTG 4bets
you jam hoping BTN folds.

Since stack discrepancies are pretty big (50bb alexander, 200+ me and jaluero), only hands that make sense would be decent AXXX hands that he thinks he can play ok vs alexander since he's pretty loose, or maybe like KKXX for same reason. End up pretty lost on flop tho -.-

As I said in the first post, I thought he'd changed to halfstack because he was a spew monkey, so no I'd say it's pretty loose, especially half stacking lol

I've been trying to figure out / prove to myself that if he had my hand, it would be a call. I've got a pretty nicely automated spreadsheet to do it for HU 4bet pots, and know enough PQL to just have Odds Oracle spit it out, but presence of sidepot is taxing my limited maths skill :<

ya i agree one has 50bb and other 200bb seems like a decent fold to avoid an extremely high variance spot

Anyone care to take a look? It's almost 6 am, I dont think I did this right;;;;

I did call 4bet EV of a HU pot, with 53$ dead money (Alexander and the other guy), then subtracted {sidepot-EV of sidepot} from the HU EV...... And ended up with it being a +5~ bb call.

But I'm not at all convinced I did anything correctly, I've never tried doing any math with sidepots at all, I'm not sure how the hell it affects anything. I tried removing the sidepot part of the hand by lowering stacks and then just doing the sidepot separately, but that becomes retarded too as it changes drastically the odds we are getting on the flop when he jams etc.

Hm shit, or should I not count his money as dead money, because if I do, I overstate how much I win when I win the main pot.......

Well, the fields "How often AVG equity of X" and "AVG equity when min equity is X" are entered manually with data from Odds Oracle, the rest is just Excel stuff, its not advanced trust me, or I wouldnt' have been able to do it
