terrible, terrible preflop.
there are far too many draws out on the flop for you not to raise it and you need to raise a decent amou t.
why would you ever fold turn? and yea you shoulda raised more to bet him off a draw etc but in this particular instance he woulda folded.
i guess in answer to your question yes you got max value but the hand was played terribly.
poker is soooo much easier when you flop sets

minraising is bad
you can limp this if you want i dont care from ep.
raise the flop 100% dont slowplay
put in a real raise on flop he goes 4 you go 12 and then you can get it all in on river
max value is all relative
if he has a bad hand hes not going to pay you off no matter how you play it (even though he did because he sucks)
knowing he has jj maybe this is the best way but still
just raise flop you have a monster that is susceptible to being outdrawn plus a lot of cards can come tha tiwill kill your action
