Because his range is smacked in the face by that flop and if we get raised we have to fold. |

I feel like his range is going to be pretty heavily towards big cards/big pairs and since I dont have Ac I dont exactly want to get in overly marginal spots on later streets. If the turn was like a 4h or w/e then obv not folding/going to value town. This line of thinking about right? |

I think this is really weak play.
Basically what you are saying is that you hope you get an awesome turn and that he doesn't bet at you otherwise. You aren't dictating/controlling anything by playing this way you are just giving your hand up and playing face up. Unless you only play aces like this anyways in which case you shouldn't be doing that. |

Asdf, it doesn't matter what we do with other hands because we're playing a 49/6 drooler that never 3bets. If it was a reg I agree with you. |

I'd cbet vs. We're missing so much value this way. |

he also has to be worried about our range, and play semi-cautious to a c-bet... I fail to see how not c-betting a dry Q high flop (where we block top set) is not the most optimal play |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | Last edit: 13/10/2012 15:39 |

Am I the only one that thinks a 49/6 player doesn't care about our range? |

I'm not worried about top set, I'm more worried about getting freerolled by aces with nfd |
