i figured he will have a TON of draws here and a lot misses on river , since he never leads a set here imo then should i raise the flop instead and continue reppin da nuts till the very end ? |

but folding feels weak when his range is capped |

edit - actually i think either floating flop or just folding are fine, since you have overs + a bunch of backdoor draws and he might just be stabbing with mid pairs or gutshots or whatever with the intent of check-folding turn. |

you saw a cheap flop vs 2 players in position.Just fold and wait for better spots.
If its a fish or random its impossible for you to judge if he is the donk bet draw type of player or the donk bet monster type or the donk bet top pair type.In case 1 he will chase and hit quite often or decide to call you with e.g. 109d on the river,in case 2+3 he crushes you and you will have a tough time to make him fold, ever, especially with that brick turn/river.

is this a player-specific read? i think plenty of people lead with sets in villain's spot. |

I dont really understand this line, we flat the flop and then we raise the turn for value or... ? |

hero raised because the turn bet felt like weak Jx/2nd pair or a draw, which is exactly why villain will call down with his one pair after the ridiculous line he used.
On a side note, fish have owned my soul with similar bet sizings when I thought I was value raising one pair hands T_T |

Im not sure about this... I think I like raising flop better when we have the Ad we arent worried about him coming over the top with the NFD and even tho we are beating all the weak draws we really dont mind just taking it down right there and if called by a pair we have a lot of options on many turns. I think once we call I prefer folding turn, even calling again I like more than raising, I dont wanna straight up say its bad but instinctively im not feeling it. |
