What made you decide to check the flop? |

Imo it's a perfect spot to check here. I have a decent draw and A high and can't really bet for value |

Flop check is good. Turn bet is meh and river is terrible, especially the call even though it's only 77 more. |

villain is a big fish, don't agree. obv raising for value on river, and yes his minraise screams nuts but not folding to the smallest raise ever |

I don't understand why you check the flop, in my book the perfect time to cbet is when you have decent equity (like random gutshot/backdoors here) and you want to fold out his. What do you do if he bets blank turn?
I'm aware that I'm way out of my stakes here but from my point of view I take what Almebeast said and say the exact opposite. |

Checking flop is good if you get c/red here a lot. A gutshot (AND overcard AND bdnfd) is very precious and I hate not being able to see more cards imo
Turn bet is fine although I'd have bet a little more.
People are being results oriented imo |

Wow lol i must have been tired yesterday. I seriously thought we had Ah 7s. My bad, I apologize. Well played, unlucky.
Edit: Still love the flop check though! Hate getting check-raised with this kind of hand. |
