since i donk alot and against this reg wich i have alot of history with he 4bets really nitty, never expect him to have AQ pretty much and im gonna lose the same amount to AK anyways so i prefer just leading because ppl generally play horribly against it and ill get more value from the very rare weak random Ax hands and the JJ-KKs, against some1 with more air in their range i prefer not donking ofc

against a better reg i would play it differently aswell, even tho i like leading in these spots alot and as ive shown down the light for value donks i can start doing it with draws or iffy ch/call /ch/r type hands in the future for these rare spots

as the board ran out i just proceed and take value from AK aswell etc, unfortunate river but he donked it up so its all good

i still think it's just bad fundamentally and there's no argument for playing this way. if his bluff range is too heavy u want to chk, if his value range is too heavy u want to fold pre. theres no in between. u just got lucky here he had 1 of the very few hands u beat that could potentially call down .. but anybody even reasonable is gonna know u cant be bluffing in this spot.

just my opinion tho.

looks close for the pf call, u have cca 25% pot odds and you are gonna flop 40% or more equity vs AK, JJ+ on 25% of flops..

so imo its good if u can outplay him post or hes gonna speww when you hit hard - which happened

can we all ballLast edit: 15/11/2012 10:30
